They were notable for their slimness--achieved by using a variant of the Times New Roman typeface, specially cut by the famous Times typographer Stanley Morison for Cambridge University Press. The result-- Times Semi-bold--is the typeface also later used in the acclaimed Concord edition. The Pitt Minion Reference edition was also the first Bible to employ the innovative Cambridge bold-figure cross-reference system (also a feature of the Concord editions). All in all, it is a neat and elegant book, easy to slip into a pocket or purse. It comes with a ribbon marker and presentation page.
